Welcome

My name is Liza Hameza (Schaefer).
I’m a mother of 4, a doula, educator, and podcaster who’s spent 15 years studying birth in the fields. Since 2010, I’ve supported over 450 births and countless postpartum journeys across Belarus, Cyprus, and the United States. I’m trained by organizations including Paramana Doula, Birthing from Within, and DONA International.I also teach workshops for doulas who want to deepen their practice with integrity and intuition. And I host The Oxytocin World Podcast, talking about the impact of birth on our lives.When I’m not at a birth or teaching, I’m likely running, hiking, curled up with a book, cooking something from scratch, or exploring the Pacific Northwest with my family.
